Thank you for using Linear Fox! Please read our Terms of Service agreement before accessing or using our services.

A. Account Terms

These terms of reflect the way #LFX as "Linear Fox" uses your account the laws that apply to our company.

I. Account Creation
  • When you set up an account on Linear Fox, you are the sole owner of your account. You are responsible for the activity that occurs on your account and confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that transpire on or within your account.

  • Robots, bots, and other automated systems are not allowed to create accounts! Linear Fox reserves the right to terminate your account if you use in a manner that Linear Fox considers to be inappropriate or unlawful.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Linear Fox, and you must be at least 18 years old to use Linear Fox services, exchange content, or purchase Linear Fox products.

    • List of what we store when you create an account:
    • Email address, Full Name, hash of your password (Encrypted), and your registration ip address.

II. Security and Required Information
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure while using Linear Fox. Linear Fox will not be liable for any loss or damage that may occur to your account, or to any information stored on your account. We offer tools such as two-factor or three-factor authentication to help you maintain your Account's security.

  • We use MySQL database to store your account and all information associated with your account, like your codes and servers.

III. Other Terms
  • You might occasionally be subject to the terms of third parties when using Linear Fox. For instance, you might download an application that connects with Linear Fox, be a member of an organization on LFX with its own terms or license agreements, or use LFX to log in to another site.

IV. Account Deletion
  • You can delete your account at any time. Linear Fox will not be liable for any loss or damage that may occur to your account, or to any information stored on your account. Linear Fox will delete your account and all information associated with your account immediately, and you will not be able to access your account or any information stored on your account after Linear Fox has deleted your account.

B. Appropriate Use of Linear Fox

Any relevant laws, such as export control or sanctions laws, copyright or trademark laws, or other laws in your jurisdiction, must not be broken by your use of the website or service. You are in charge of ensuring that how you use the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

C. Repositories, Content, and Licenses [NOTICE: THIS SECTION IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION]

I. Repositories
  • Linear Fox allows you to store and share code, data, and other content. You are responsible for the content you store. You must comply with our Terms of Service when using Linear Fox.

II. Private Repositories
  • Private repository content is treated as confidential by us, and we only access it as stated in our Privacy Statement—for security reasons, to help the repository owner with a support issue, to maintain the service's integrity, to comply with our legal obligations, if we have reason to suspect the contents are illegal, or with your permission.

  • How its stored, works.
    Our plan is a storing on decentralzied network.

III. Licenses for Repositories
  • Open source software is frequently shared through public repositories on LinearFox & Github or other. You must grant others the freedom to use, modify, and distribute the software for your repository to be considered truly open source.

  • Choose a License

D. API Terms

  • Your Account's access to the API may be suspended temporarily or permanently if there has been abuse or overly frequent queries to LinearFox via the API. LinearFox will determine abuse or excessive API use at our sole discretion. Prior to suspension, we'll try our best to give you a decent heads-up through email.

E. Payment Terms

  • Stripe provides payment processing services that allow merchants to accept payments from their customers. You agree to use Stripe only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

    • No Refunds

    • All payments processed through Stripe are final and non-refundable. Once a payment is processed, it cannot be reversed or refunded. As such, you should carefully consider your purchase before making payment through Stripe.

F. Account Suspension and Termination

  • Linear Fox may suspend or terminate your account if you violate our Terms of Service or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for us. Linear Fox will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your account, any associated email address, or access to your account.

I. GUIDELINES
  • Our team strives to make LinearFox safe and enjoyable for everyone. All users and members are required to abide by the following guidelines. Failure to do so can result in account suspensions or account closure.

II. MODERATION AGAINST ACCOUNT
  • We use AI to moderate our platform. If you are found to be in violation of our Terms of Service, your account will be suspended. If you are found to be in violation of our Terms of Service multiple times, your account will be terminated.

G. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Linear Fox is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Linear Fox makes no warranty that (i) the service will meet your requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, or (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations.

H. Limitation of Liability

  • You agree that Linear Fox will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Linear Fox has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information, or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service.

I. Alpha and Beta Testing

  • Linear Fox is currently in Alpha and Beta testing. We are not liable for any damages that may occur to your account or any information stored on your account.
  • Legals can be changed at any time. We will notify you of any changes!

J. Banned countries

The following countries are banned from Linear Fox:
  • Russia
  • Afghanistan
  • Belarus
  • Iran
The reason for this is because of the government of these countries. They are known for their censorship and spying on their citizens. We do not want to be a part of that.

K. Community Guidelines

I. Respect and Professionalism
  • Emphasize the importance of maintaining a respectful and professional tone in all interactions.
  • Discourage any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior within the research community.
II. Collaboration and Open Communication
  • Encourage open communication, idea sharing, and constructive feedback among community members.
  • Promote a collaborative environment where researchers can engage in meaningful discussions.

I. Platform Stability
Acknowledge that, as an under-development platform, occasional disruptions or changes may occur. Assure users that efforts are ongoing to stabilize and enhance the platform.
II. Legal Compliance
Remind users to comply with intellectual property laws and regulations when uploading and sharing documents. The platform is not responsible for any legal implications resulting from the misuse of intellectual property.
